1. Who we are and these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of redgem.io and the RedGem service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use RedGem. You can contact us at support@redgem.io.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract to use RedGem. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login details secure, and for all activity under your account.

Accounts are for a single person. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account or access to it.

3. Membership and billing

RedGem is a paid subscription. Membership tiers and prices are shown on our pricing page. Payments are taken through our payment processor, Stripe; we do not store your card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods until you cancel. We may change prices with reasonable notice; changes take effect at your next renewal. Prices include or exclude tax as indicated at checkout.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of your current billing period. New members may request a full refund within 7 days of their first payment. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. What RedGem provides — and what it does not

RedGem provides information and tools to help you find, value, and decide on auction lots — including estimated resale prices, deal scores, and suggested maximum bids. These are estimates based on data and assumptions, and they are not guarantees of profit or of any outcome.

You are solely responsible for your own decisions to bid on, buy, and resell any item. RedGem is not a party to any auction or sale, does not buy or sell items, and is not affiliated with eBay or with any auction house. You should always inspect lots and read each auction's terms before bidding.

6. Not professional advice

Nothing provided by RedGem is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. If you need such advice, please consult a suitably qualified professional.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use RedGem lawfully and fairly, and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you must not scrape or extract our data by automated means, reverse engineer the service, circumvent membership tiers or security, or resell access to RedGem.

8. Intellectual property

RedGem, the platform, its content, and its branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the service while your membership is active. You retain ownership of the data you enter, such as your logged outcomes.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep RedGem available, but the service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may occasionally suspend the service for maintenance or reasons beyond our control.

10. Our liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of expected savings, or any indirect or consequential loss, or for losses arising from your bidding, buying, or reselling decisions. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for membership in that period.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or use the service unlawfully. You may end this agreement at any time by cancelling and closing your account.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will give reasonable notice. Continuing to use RedGem after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
