We go to the auction house, view the lot in person, bid, collect it ourselves, test it, list it on eBay in public and post it when it sells. You approve every purchase, you own every item, and every penny is in your ledger.
Losers included. These are planning numbers from our own data, not a promise.
About 7 items a round, one round is about six weeks. Typical round assumes 1 item arrives faulty.
After eBay business fees, postage and your costs. Bad = 30% of items faulty, winners thin. Good = none faulty. Our own numbers from last month's closes; some rounds lose. Not a promise.
Every lot has its own ledger: the evidence we bought on, your approval, the house invoice, the photos from the viewing and the test bench, the public eBay listing you can open any time, the order, the fees and the settlement. Nothing summarised, nothing hidden.
The example: profit £64.72, our fee £12 + 40% = £37.89, yours £26.83 plus your £93 cost back.
First come, first offered. You get your queue number straight away and a link that moves you up for every person who joins through it. We email you when your place opens.
No, and we do not want it treated as one. You buy goods you choose, one lot at a time, and you own them. We are your buying agent and your selling agent and we charge a fee for the work. We never hold your money and never buy on our own judgement with it.
Yes. A lot can arrive faulty, sell for less than expected, or not sell. That loss is yours, because you own it, and we take no profit share on it. The calculator above shows a bad round as a loss on purpose.
No. The pot is a limit, not a deposit. Your card is charged only when a lot you approved is won, for its real cost, with the invoice.
Store returns and ex-display stock at UK auction houses: vacuums, coffee machines, cameras, consoles, tools, audio, small appliances. Parcel-sized things that sell on eBay every week. We view in person before bidding and collect every lot from the house ourselves.
Ours, a business account, as your agent. Every listing is public: your ledger links to it and you can watch the views, the watchers and the sale like anyone else. Business sellers pay eBay about 13% in fees, which is already in the numbers.
Each lot settles 30 days after delivery (eBay's returns window) and we pay out every Friday with a statement. Expect 4 to 8 weeks from approving a lot to being paid for it. You can stop any time; lots already won complete, then your items are sold or sent to you at cost.
RedGem Done For You is a buying and consignment service. You decide each purchase and own what is bought; RedGem acts as your agent and charges the fees above. It is not an investment, a fund or a savings product, and no return is promised. Results vary and some rounds lose money.
