1. Who controls your data

2. The data we collect
Account data: your name or username, email address, and a securely hashed password (handled by our authentication provider).
Profile and usage data: your budget, goals and preferences, the deals you view, watch, or log as outcomes, and your progress in the Academy.
Payment data: handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not store your card details.
Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and cookies (see our Cookie Policy). Any messages you send us.
3. How and why we use it
To provide the service and your membership, and to take payment (performing our contract with you).
To secure, maintain, and improve RedGem, and to prevent misuse (our legitimate interests).
To send you service messages, and — only with your consent — marketing emails, which you can opt out of at any time.
To comply with our legal and accounting obligations.
4. Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run RedGem, including our database and authentication provider, our hosting provider, and Stripe for payments. They process data on our instructions.
We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. We keep some records longer where required for legal, tax, or accounting reasons. You can ask us to delete your data, subject to those obligations.
7. Your rights

8. Security and children
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. RedGem is not intended for anyone under 18.
